How to get unlimited free storage from Copy.com by YOURSELF (100% successful)

Introduction
Copy.com is a 100% free online storage, with the benefits:
- Taking your data everywhere, portable hard drive replacement
- Automatically sync data from your computer to the cloud
- Back up your valuable data: documents, movies, music ...
- Share files with others easily

Compared with the popular Dropbox service, Copy.com has several advantages:
Unlimited storage (free account). Dropbox can only earn a maximum of 22GB, while Copy.com can earn hundreds of gigabytes in just a few hours
- When you refer to your friends, both the referer and referee earn, 5GB while it is only 500MB with Dropbox
- download / upload is very good

Copy.com is really worth a try. Especially if you need large storage, because this is a limitation of many other similar online storage.

How to get unlimited storage from Copy.com by yourself
- As you know, at the moment, Copy.com has blocked the referral through virtual account. Specifically, all kinds of auto-referral tools are not usable anymore, and even changing MAC address manually is also getting the error "Waiting for install on unique device", meaning that Copy.com can detect you've installed 2 acc in 1 machine. That is because Copy.com has a new mechanism to identify unique devices not through MAC address, or one of the other parameters like UUID, SID ...
- Of course, there is still one way «low-tech» way to get referral by yourself is to install completely new virtual machine, then install Copy. Then Copy.com will recognize the new machine and credit for your referral. But this way is time-consuming. I have found a new way to shorten the time: Basically it is also creating a new virtual machine, but instead of installing new full windows OS, it will boot straight into MiniXP. As the result, I have created about 50 accounts in 2 hours. Even-though, this is a manual way, but the result is guaranteed.

Detailed Guide:

Preparation:
- Down the software: VMware, ISO files of MiniXP, portable Copy

- Create a list of virtual accounts: just prepare a list of accounts and save to a file for later use. Copy.com doesn't limit number of referrals, so you create as many as you like. Each virtual account will help your main account to earn more 5 GB. However, you should not use this way too much, since it may cause attention from Copy.com

Step 1: Create the main account
- This step is simple. You can use the following link to earn more 5GB (so you will have 20 GB in total) . https://copy.com?r=AGHPVT(You will not be credited with 5 GB if signing up directly at Copy.com homepage). Then, remember to check mail and confirm the new user account
- Then you log in and click on your account name in the upper right corner of the screen and select "Invite someone to Copy" to get your referral link. You will use this link to sign up for the virtual accounts below. Each virtual account will help your main account to earn 5 GB more

Step 2: Create virtual accounts
- Just like step 1, but you use the referral link of your main account to sign up for your the virtual account in your list which you've prepared before. After that, you need to check your mail to confirm (if not, you'll not receive referral bonus), so you'll need a separate mailbox for each of these accounts. There are 2 ways: either you manually register on yahoo, gmail, outlook.com ... or use fake email generators which require no registration. But the second way is difficult because most of the sites were blocked by Copy already. So, you'd better register your "spam" emails manually (d)

Step 3: Install Copy for virtual accounts
This step is a fairly complex and time consuming
1. Install VMware
2. Create a virtual machine template
- On VMware, Choose menu File> New Virtual Machine. A Dialog box will pop up
- In the first Welcome window, select Custom> Next
- In the next window, click Next
- In the "Guest OS installation window", select "I will install later"> Next
[IMG]

- In "Select OS" window, select "Microsoft Windows", version is Windows XP Professional > Next
- In the next screen, click > Next
- For Processor, choose the default (1)> Next
- For RAM, choose the default (512MB) > Next
- Network type, select Use bridged networking > Next
[IMG]

- Next, for Disk capacity, approximately 2GB is enough
[IMG]

- For Disk file, choose default > Next
- Before you click Finish, click "Customize hardware"

- A new window appears, click Add (notice that one CD / DVD is available already)
- Select "CD/DVD drive" > Next
[IMG]

- Select "Use physical drive" > Next followed by Finish
- At this point, in the main window you can see there are 2 CD / DVD
[IMG]

- Click on the first drive and select Use ISO image file, and then browse to the iso file of MiniXP. Similarly, in the second drive , browse to the ISO file of Copy portable. Remember, this order is compsulsory so that you can boot into MiniXP enviroment
- Then, click Close and Finish, 1 virtual machine will be created. Don't click "Power on" yet. Click on the menu File> Export to OVF and then save the file somewhere. So, you have created one template to create multiple virtual machines which are identical in configuration, with boot CD available ... just different in hardware ID (which is used by Copy to detect unique device)

3. Create a virtual machine from template
In VMware, press Ctrl + O and open the OVF file you just created, and then click Import, it takes about 5 seconds to finish 1 machine.

- when Import completes, click "Power on" for that machine, it will automatically boot into the iso MiniXP.
- While waiting for the machine to finish booting up, you can Import more machines and click "Power on" again ... and so on for about 5 machines running at the same time to save the time (depending on the amount of RAM on your computer, turn on Task Manager to monitor your RAM).
- After each machine finishes booting win XP, run the "Network Setup" icon on the Desktop to get Internet access for the machine.

4. Install Copy the virtual machine and log in
- On each virtual machine, open the CD drive containing the portable version of Copy then run CopyAgent.exe, then the login screen of Copy will show up. You log in using the virtual accounts in the your list, then the referral will be credited. Both the Main Account and each virtual account will be added 5GB
- When you finish loging in for 5 accounts on 5 machines, then erase them all to clean up RAM and HDD, then re-create from Step 3 above and repeat with the next 5 accounts ... until you finish logging in for all accounts in your list

===============

You will be up-to-speed after 2 times, in about 2-3 hours, your main account can be pumped to about 300 GB size.

As I said, this is still quite "low-tech" because I have not found exactly which parameter Copy base on to detect unique device. But definitely, this is the best way for the time being.
